A large sauna not far from Docklands. A discrete entrance near Limehouse Station and next to a craft beer pub. A quick entrance procedure, plenty of lockers and even two cubicles with doors for those that want to change in private. A lounge area where snacks, limited fast food and soft drinks are available. The steam room and sauna were both at a good temperature, with a maximum of 10 to 12 people. The pool was temporarily closed. Both saunas are close together. The rest of the building, over three floors, provided two small cinemas, a few cubicles, some with their own screens, dark rooms, glory holes and an outside deck. I visited on Sunday afternoon. By no means full, but plenty of others around and I had a good time.

best thing: I enjoyed nude sunbathing on the deck.
worst thing: Nothing.

Has not changed to Sailors Sauna. As of Dec 2015, they are re-opening the top two floors and the sundeck, so the sauna will be back to its old size. This is one of the best saunas in London. Staff nice and helpful too. Always clean. A great sauna cabin and showers.

I last visited in Sept 2012: have been an infrequent visitor over the past 3-4 years. Four years ago, I thought the Sauna was great. Nice facilities, if a little rundown, staff friendly and a good mixture of customers, from cute twinks to older muscle.

However, the place doesn't really come up to scratch any more, I'm sorry to say. The facilities - toilets and changing room - were not that clean when I visited. The showers only had one shower that gave hot water. The urinal had not been cleaned and smelt unpleasant. The customers were thinner on the ground, too. It is a great shame as this place could be so great. I hope the staff read this forum and can do something about this place. I have recently read that the top floor - once a collection of lockable private rooms, a TV screen playing porn and all lit by eerie blue lighting, has been permanently closed. So the Sauna is getting smaller, but the entrance fee remains the same. I tried telephoning them this morning to ask about this, when I got through they just put the phone down on me without a word!

Been to this Sauna a few times, not overly busy, but some nice guys get there, and it is quite friendly.
Had lots of fine, so thats the main thing.

A bit hit and miss this venue... I visited last during a weeknight - I was only one of three. Staff were friendly but the facilities looked like they seen better days - in the last century.

It's certainly not my fav venue but, not ruled it out completely...
